Vibgyor DSC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") operates the website vibgyordsc.com and related sub-domains. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. By using our website or applying for any Digital Signature Certificate ("DSC"), eSign or SSL service, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

To issue a DSC we are required by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) regulations to collect and verify the following:

• Identity data – Full name, date of birth, gender, photograph, PAN, Aadhaar / OVD number and video-KYC recording.
• Contact data – Mobile number, email, postal address, GSTIN (for Organization DSCs).
• Payment data – Order amount, transaction reference and last 4 digits of card/UPI handle. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Technical data – IP address, browser type, device fingerprint and access logs collected automatically for security and fraud prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Process and issue your Digital Signature Certificate through our partner Certifying Authorities (SIFY, eMudhra, IDSign, nCode, etc.).
• Verify your identity via video KYC, Aadhaar OTP, eKYC or in-person verification as mandated by CCA guidelines.
• Send transactional communications – order confirmation, DSC dispatch, renewal reminders and statutory notices.
• Improve website performance, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable Indian law.

We will never sell, rent or trade your personal data to third-party marketers.

3. Sharing with Certifying Authorities & Partners

To complete a DSC application we share relevant KYC details with the relevant Certifying Authority ("CA") in encrypted form. The CA may, in turn, store the data on its own infrastructure. Each CA is contractually bound by the same data-protection standards we follow.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use first-party cookies for session management and privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) to understand which pages are useful. You can disable cookies in your browser settings – some features may stop working.

5. Data Retention

Because DSC records form part of long-term audit trails, we retain KYC documents and certificate metadata for a minimum of 7 years from the date of issuance, as required by CCA rules. After that period the data is anonymised or securely destroyed.

6. Your Rights

• Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India, should you believe we have mishandled your data.

7. Security

We use 256-bit TLS encryption, ISO 27001-aligned processes, role-based access controls, and regular third-party security audits. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

We aim to be fair, fast and transparent with refunds. The rules below apply to all Digital Signature Certificate, eSign and SSL products purchased through Vibgyor DSC Solutions.

1. Eligibility Window

• Full refund – if cancellation is requested before KYC submission is complete and the certificate has not been generated by the Certifying Authority.
• Partial refund – if KYC is done but the DSC has not yet been downloaded. A 15% processing & payment-gateway fee is deducted.
• No refund – once the DSC has been generated, downloaded, or the USB token has been dispatched.

2. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable by default:

• USB tokens / smart cards once dispatched and delivered.
• Re-issuance of an already-downloaded DSC for reasons attributable to the customer (lost PIN, password reset, change in personal details, etc.).
• Subscription or annual support plans once the service has commenced.

3. Failed or Rejected Applications

If your application is rejected by the Certifying Authority due to a technical failure on our side or due to a CA system error, you are entitled to a 100% refund or a free re-attempt — at your choice.

4. Refund Process & Timeline

• Email refunds@vibgyordsc.com with your Order ID and reason for cancellation.
• Our team will review the request within 2 working days.
• Approved refunds are credited to the original payment method within 5–10 working days depending on your bank.

5. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you can escalate the matter to our Grievance Officer at grievance@vibgyordsc.com. We aim to resolve all disputes within 30 days as per Indian consumer protection norms.

These Terms govern your use of vibgyordsc.com and all services provided by Vibgyor DSC Solutions Pvt. Ltd. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Service Description

Vibgyor DSC Solutions is a Registration Authority (RA) authorised by CCA-licensed Certifying Authorities in India. We help individuals and organisations procure, renew and manage Digital Signature Certificates, eSign and SSL certificates.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and a resident or authorised representative of a registered Indian entity (for organization DSCs) to apply. Foreign nationals must provide apostilled/attested identity documents.

3. KYC & Verification

You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during KYC. Any false or misleading information may lead to rejection of the application and suspension of your account, with no refund.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices listed on the website are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of GST, unless explicitly mentioned. Prices may change without prior notice, but the price confirmed at order time will be honoured.

5. Use of the DSC

You agree to use the issued DSC strictly for lawful purposes. You shall not use the DSC to:

• Commit fraud, misrepresentation or identity theft.
• Sign documents on behalf of others without explicit authorisation.
• Violate any applicable Indian law, including the IT Act 2000, the Indian Contract Act, and the Indian Penal Code.

Misuse may result in revocation of the certificate by the CA and possible legal action.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website – including text, graphics, logos, and design – is owned by Vibgyor DSC Solutions or its licensors and protected by Indian copyright law. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibgyor's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by you for that specific order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

8. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or are required to do so by a Certifying Authority or court of law.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the new Terms.
